Some years ago the club ran the Colin Cowley Memorial Trial, using it as a vehicle to raise money for the Willen Hospice who had looked after Colin during his illness. The event raised around £1400 and was a resounding success.
We please to be able to say the club has agreed to use the Dave Wise Trial, being held on the August Bank Holiday weekend, to raise money for Willen Hospice once again, being in particular need of support this year due to a £500,000 short fall in their budget.
We will be running a raffle in addition to asking for donations, the raffle are the Willen Hospice lottery tickets with the club details on the back. This give you the chance to win, not only the raffle prize, but also the Willen Hospice lottery draw!
The raffle will be drawn sometime over the August Bank Holiday weekend, the tickets will then be entered into the lottery draw the following week, so keep your tickets!
